Jay & Jamie, 2014

I first met Jay at Vicky & Phil's wedding in 2013, where she provided incredible flowers through her company - Jay Archer Floral Design.

When Jay asked me to film her and Jamie's wedding in September last year, I knew I was in for a bit of treat!

I could wax lyrical about all the things that made the day wonderful, but I think the location, the atmosphere, the dress, the flowers and everything else speak for themselves.

Carly & Justin, 2013

We're super excited to have one of our films featured on the world's biggest wedding blog - Style Me Pretty.

Carly & Justin's wedding was another incredible day at Preston Court in Kent. They were married outdoors on the little island in the grounds and had their reception in beautifully decked out barn.

The carousel proved a real highlight on the day for everybody - including us, although I discovered that you can pretty dizzy trying to film on it!

Carly gave us a really nice mention in her write-up for the blog:

"Our best idea was deciding to have a cinematographer. We had Will from Ciné Reportage and it was the best money that we ever spent. They went above and beyond on the day and fit in perfectly. It was so unobtrusive that people were surprised when we said we had a film made. We can’t talk highly enough about them, the film makes me cry every time, it is so romantic."

Check out the full Style Me Pretty feature here, with beautiful pics from Heather at Brighton Photo.

Victoria & Adrian, 2013

At the end of last Summer we were lucky enough to shoot three weddings at Preston Court. It's an incredible venue in Kent with a 17th century Kentish barn and a working, antique carousel!

Victoria & Adrian were married at a beautiful service in St Mildred's church, which is right next to Preston Court.

If you'd like to see more of this super stylish wedding, the film along with pictures by Dylan Nolte were featured on the fabulous Whimsical Wonderland Weddings blog here.

Hannah & Kenny, 2013

The very stylish Hannah & Kenny are dancers with the Northern Ballet and were married at Allerton Castle in June last year.

Hannah wore a stunning Jenny Packham dress with Christian Louboutin shoes, whilst Kenny wore a very natty Vivienne Westwood tartan suit.

Allerton Castle is an imposing Victorian Gothic country house in Yorkshire, lavishly and appropriately furnished, it feels thoroughly Victorian throughout!

The day started a little (quite a lot actually) damp and drizzly, but the sun burst through the clouds in the afternoon so Hannah & Kenny's guests could frolic in the beautiful grounds and play a spot of rounders.

Gillian & Stuart, 2013

Gillian & Stuart's wedding was huge fun to shoot; Super stylish and packed with beautiful details and lots of laughter.

We love a Scottish wedding and this one was particularly stunning.

The ceremony & reception were at the Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow, formerly the Scottish Royal Automobile Club. Inside it's a light and airy mix of original features and sumptuous modern design dotted with little mementos of its motoring heritage.

The music is Make It Wit Chu by Queens of the Stone Age and the film was shot entirely on Kodak Super 8 & 16mm film.

Further supplier details are in a feature on the fabulous Love My Dress blog here.

Abigail & Jonathan, 2013

We met Abi & Jon at Belle's Vintage Wedding Fair back in 2012. They're a lovely couple and when they mentioned that they were getting married at The Bluebell Railway, we did all we could to persuade them to book us to film it!

I was so excited when they said yes and I think it might just be my favourite wedding venue ever.

Abi looked stunning in her David Fielden dress and John was very dashing in a suit from Brighton based tailors Hugo Morris. It was such a fun, celebratory wedding with some beautiful Art Deco touches.

It was also a lovely opportunity to work alongside Amy & Frank from Wookie Photography, their photos of the day, more about the wedding and further supplier details are in a feature on the fabulous Love My Dress blog here.

This film was shot on a mixture of Kodak & Fuji Super 8 and 16mm film and the soundtrack is The Air That I Breath by The Hollies.

Zena & Ian, 2013

We've been frequent visitors to the South of France for holidays and to attend the Cannes Film Festival. The light is just so beautiful (and so plentiful!) that we've long been longing to shoot some wedding films down there.

So we were mega excited to shoot Zena & Ian's wedding in the Dordogne. It was a scorching hot day in July and as you can see, Chateau La Durantie is just idyllic.

We're so looking forward to heading back to the region for at least one more wedding this season. It's a real treat to be able to hop on a train rather than a plane for the trip!

We shot Zena & Ian's wedding entirely on Kodak Super 8 & 16mm film.

The gorgeous soundtrack is Au Fond D'un Rêve Doré by Nada Surf.
